Open-air cinema, intimate concerts, major sporting events, and the best live music take center stage in a lineup designed to make the most of summer and the start of autumn in a unique seaside setting.
Marina Lanzarote takes another step in its commitment to offering experiences that connect with residents and visitors alike, cementing its position as one of the island’s leading spaces for leisure, culture, and sport. Over the coming months, the marina will roll out a full programme of activities that will bring its facilities to life and strengthen its role as a meeting place for enjoying unique moments by the sea.
The season kicks off with one of the year’s big new additions: the first edition of Cine de Verano Marina Lanzarote, an open-air cinema experience designed to be enjoyed on summer nights with family and friends. The opening screening will take place on June 10 with the film Wicked, kicking off a series that will continue month after month and aims to become one of the standout activities of the summer.
Music will once again take center stage with Marina Suena – Notas al Viento, a concert series that embraces the intimacy and emotion of small-format live performances. This time, the spotlight is on Dúo Bravo, who will deliver an elegant piano and vocal performance in an evening designed to enjoy music in an exclusive, welcoming setting.
Sport will also take a prominent place on Marina Lanzarote’s agenda. From July 10 to 11, the marina will once again host the well-established Summer Challenge, an event that brings together athletes and enthusiasts every year for one of the most anticipated competitions of the summer.
In addition, cycling enthusiasts will have the chance to take part in a social bike ride organized together with Q36.5 and Tribike, an experience that combines sport, community, and a shared passion for cycling.
Activities continue in August with the prestigious Trofeo César Manrique de Cruceros, one of the Canary Islands’ major nautical events, which will once again fill Arrecife Bay with spectacle and excitement.
September brings one of the archipelago’s most important cultural events: Arrecife en Vivo. Marina Lanzarote will once again be part of the festival’s official route as one of its stages, bringing the best live music to thousands of attendees. As a new addition, on September 5 the marina will also host the Arrecife en Vivo Channel, a special day dedicated to local talent, bringing together several bands from Lanzarote in a festive, close-knit atmosphere.
This new lineup builds on the success of recent months’ activities, such as Mother’s Day and the special Marina Suena – Canary Islands Day event, initiatives that drew an excellent response and have strengthened Marina Lanzarote’s connection with the local community.
With this new agenda, Marina Lanzarote reaffirms its commitment to offering much more than a marina: a vibrant space to enjoy culture, sport, dining, and leisure in one of the island’s most privileged settings.
